Design to suit you

In house design

Our in-house design process is tailored towards home builders and architects who have a genuine appreciation for the way in which quality crafted joinery can elevate an interior from bland and functional to something really extraordinary.

There is so much more to joinery than cupboards and wardrobes, and when you begin the process of conceptualising your new build or renovation, we recommend that you take the time to do your research on the enormous number of ways in which crafted built-in joinery can be used to elevate both interior and exterior spaces.

The first step in the process? Call us on 03 3796840 today and arrange an appointment with our in-house design team. We will look at your home’s overall aesthetic, taking into account your personal taste and preferences, functional requirements, and budget, while you browse through our extensive portfolios. Together we will then spend time creating a mood board, from which we take inspiration for our colour drawings, which will be presented to you for approval.

Once you have approved the designs, we create renders of the end result, and together we will go over the construction program and agree on our milestone timelines. The last stage of the in-house design process is the manufacture and site installation of your custom joinery. We welcome questions from architects, builders, or homeowners throughout your time with us, and we pride ourselves on maintaining clear communication with all of our clients during every step of the journey.

Tenders

The team at Sydenham Bespoke Joinery have four decades of experience in tender bidding for both residential and commercial projects.

On receiving an invitation to tender we will carefully go over the scope of work, project specifications, deadlines, and evaluation criteria to ensure that we can meet the project’s requirements and deliverables, and we will never make promises that we can’t keep.

Our comprehensive bid will always include detailed cost estimates, timelines, material specifications, and examples of previous projects, and we work hard to make sure that we have eliminated any inaccuracies or incomplete information in our submission.

It goes without saying that our company complies with industry standards and regulations, with a strong adherence to health and safety protocols, and demonstratable quality assurance processes.

A substantial part of of our business is acquired through tender bidding, and we are dedicated to making the entire process as easy and efficient as possible for both parties.

Architects

We are the bespoke joinery of choice for architects all over New Zealand, because we understand that custom joinery is a collaborative experience that doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Decades of experience have given us the ability to take an architect’s vision and bring it to life, and there is no project too complex for our design and manufacture team.

Designers know that if they present us with a problem to solve, we will work on it until we find a solution, and we pride ourselves on our innovation and willingness to do things that have never been tried before.

Richard, Grant, and the team at Sydenham Bespoke Joinery are dedicated to maintaining open lines of communication between architect, builder, home owner and joiner at every stage of the design and manufacturing process. Our state-of-the-art machinery allows us to design and build high-end durable joinery that melds art and functionality in a way that simply can’t be replicated by an off-the-shelf product.
