Laundries
A bespoke crafted laundry is de rigeur in any high-end build these days, with ugly stainless steel sinks, plywood shelving and mouldy shoe cupboards relegated firmly in the past. At bare minimum, a quality custom laundry should consist of solid wood shelving and floor-to-ceiling cupboards, but there are also a number of accessories that we can install for you to keep your laundry room in line with the rest of your home.
Built-in hampers
Available in a number of different styles and finishes, a built-in hamper can be crafted to slide in behind a cupboard door for a sleek stylish laundry that always looks tidy. Installing multiple hampers will allow you to separate whites and delicates from soiled sports gear, or you can allocate a hamper to each member of the family.
Built-in ironing board
Generally built into the wall cavity during construction, a built-in ironing board is a game changer for keeping your laundry tidy and uncluttered, is safer in that there is one less electrical cord exposed to moisture, and most importantly, you’ll never have to wrestle with a traditional folding board again.
Drying rack
The laundry accessory you didn’t know you needed until you owned one, there are a number of drying rack options available, depending on the configuration of your laundry. Racks can be hung from the ceiling above your workspace and raised and lowered with a pulley system to keep them out of the way and maximise airflow. They can also be attached to the wall, where they can be folded up and put away when not in use. We can create these in any shape and finish, the choice is yours.
